What is biodiesel?
Biodiesel is a renewable fuel made from the combination of an alcohol (such as methanol and ethanol) with natural fats (such as vegetable oils, animal fats). It has very similar chemical properties to diesel fuel and is widely blended for use in Europe and US.
Most of the current Biodiesel producers use refined, edible vegetable oils (such as palm and soyoil) and fats as feedstock and that has public resistance as it leads to deforestation and higher food prices.
The latest technology developed by our Company allows a biodiesel producer to use Non Edible By Products (such as Palm Fatty Acids/ Acid Oils) or Waste products (Used Cooking Oils, Grease Trap Oil) as feedstock. In addition, our process does not require any use of water and hence is the most environmentally friendly available. |

Ten benefits of biodiesel
As biodiesel is made from organic natural oils, it inherited many of its wonderful benefits:
| 1. |
truly renewable; unlike other alternatively fuels such as Hydrogen and Fuel Cell whose energy is ultimately derived from crude hydrocarbon. |
| 2. |
biodegradable; |
| 3. |
not flammable and hence easy to handle |
| 4. |
non-toxic; in fact, it cuts toxicity by 95% |
| 5. |
sulphur-free; hence does not cause acid rains (sulphuric acids) |
| 6. |
compatible with existing diesel engines; does not require expensive engine modifications and infrastructure unlike Compressed Natural Gas and LPG |
| 7. |
lower fuel bill if waste oils or by products are readily available |
| 8. |
cuts crude oil import bill, promotes self sufficiency in energy needs |
| 9. |
provides farmers an alternative market for their products |
| 10. |
increase farmers’ income |
